You know how all of that goes right?
OK! so with the holiday's approaching I thought I'd share some tad bits for getting your holiday shopping right! Just like Santa.No stress, No fuss. Just some simple rules I came up with this year to hopefully save you some bucks $$$$.
TOYIN'S RULES FOR HOLIDAY SHOPPING
1. Make a list! Its really important to make a list of the people you want to gift, that way you have somewhere to start.
2. Check it twice! LOL to be honest yes!, someone might have proved themselves unworthy to receive a gift from you. X out that ex boyfriend.
3. Have a budget! Unless you're Bill Gates and you're reading this blog (if that's the case please I really want to Jeep Wrangler and maybe a job at Microsoft) you need to set a budget so you aren't broke at the end of Christmas. With a budget set, remember that list you made and checked twice? Yeah well divide your budget and put an amount next to each person's name.
4. Know who you're gifting! Research what each person might like by going on their Pinterest board, HERE'S MINE just in case you want to get me something, Listen to what they've been saying or talking about and narrow it down to 3 possible gifts per person. (Make sure it falls in your budget)
5. Deals ain't ever hurt nobody! Just because you find a great deal online or in store doesn't make you cheap or the gift cheap. It makes you a smart shopper.
6. Start early! Look to be honest the reason why you end up either buying outrageously expensive or cheap non thought out gifts for people is because you don't start shopping around or looking for gifts deals early. The earlier you start, the better your chances of not stressing out, staying on budget and getting people what they really want like a BOSS! Just like Santa.
I'm starting my shopping this week because I've gone through steps 1-4 already. It helped that I was organized. Hopefully this helps you too.
